LORD GANESHA
Lord Ganesha, also known as Ganesh, Ganapati and Vinayaka, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities by Hindus around the world. He is also called as Elephant God of Hinduism, the son of Mahadev (Lord Shiva) and Parvati.
Lord Ganesha is widely known as Vighanharta (the remover of obstacles); the patron of arts and sciences; and the God of intellect and wisdom.
As an artist, I find Ganesha’s physical form, the cute chubby boy like body with an elephant head is highly charming and mesmerizing. This is the reason I started a series on Lord Ganesha.
